Board of Directors

Mr. Schwinger was appointed Chairman of the Board on March 1, 2025, and has been a Director since May 25, 2017. Mr. Schwinger was the President of McNair Interests.

For the past 30 years, Mr. Schwinger held positions with various companies previously owned, directly or indirectly, by Robert C. McNair, including President of Palmetto Partners Ltd., RCM Financial Services, L.P., Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the Houston Texans, and Vice President of Cogen Technologies. In April 2010, he was named the CEO of The McNair Group (which became McNair Interests in 2018). In his role, he oversaw the investment and management activities for the McNair group of companies, including portfolios of public and private equities, a private trust company, several foundations and various other operating companies.

In the community, Mr. Schwinger is an advisory Board member for The Make-A-Wish Foundation and enjoys serving his church. He is also a member of the World Presidents' Organization. Mr. Schwinger received an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. in mathematics from Vanderbilt University. We believe that Mr. Schwinger’s broad experience as an executive officer and proven financial expertise make him well-qualified to serve as a Director on our board of directors.

Ms. Fox has served as the President, Chief Executive Officer, Secretary and Director of the Company since July 2015, and from February 2013 to July 2015, Ms. Fox served the Company as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Strategic Development. In addition, Ms. Fox served as the Interim Chief Financial Officer of the Company from September 2017 to December 2017 and previously served in such capacity from July 2015 through April 2017. From December 2008 to February 2013, Ms. Fox served in various positions with SCF Partners, a private equity firm specializing in investments in the energy services industry. Ms. Fox became a Managing Director of SCF Partners in December 2012. Prior to joining SCF Partners, Ms. Fox served in the United States Marine Corps. During her service, Ms. Fox worked with a small team embedded in the South of Iraq in order to ensure Iraqi Security Force combat operations were consistent with the application of US counterinsurgency tactics. Ms. Fox has also served as an Investment Banking Analyst for both Prudential Securities and Warburg Dillon Read in New York. Ms. Fox holds a Bachelor of Science in Diplomacy and Security in World Affairs from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School. She currently serves as a Board Director for Devon Energy Corporation, Board Advisor for Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy, Board Trustee for Groton School and Board Director for American Petroleum Institute.

Mr. Burnett has served as a Director of the Company since May 3, 2025. Mr. Burnett is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Silver Creek Exploration, a privately held company focused on direct investments in non-operated working interests and royalties. Previously, Mr. Burnett served in the same roles at Silver Creek Oil & Gas, LLC, beginning in November 2019. Prior to this, Mr. Burnett served as the Chief Financial Officer of Covey Park Energy from June 2017 to October 2019.

From August 2016 until its sale to Parsley Energy, Inc. during the first half of 2018, Mr. Burnett served as the Chief Financial Officer of Double Eagle Energy Holdings II, a U.S. onshore E&P partnership with Apollo Natural Resource Partners. Prior to Joining Double Eagle in August 2016, Mr. Burnett spent three years at EXCO Resources, a publicly traded U.S. onshore E&P company, serving as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer.

From 2002 to November 2013, Mr. Burnett was at KPMG, an international accounting firm, serving as a Partner beginning 2007. Starting in June 2012, he served as the Partner in charge of the Energy Audit Practice within the Dallas/Fort Worth Business Unit.

Prior to joining KPMG in 2002, Mr. Burnett spent time at Arthur Anderson and Marine Drilling Companies.

Since November 2016, Mr. Burnett has served as a member of the Select Water Solutions (NYSE: WTTR) Board and currently serves as the chairman of the Audit Committee and the lead independent director. He has previously served on the Board of Directors and as the Chairman of the Audit Committee for US Well Services, Inc. (NYSE: USWS) and served on the Board of Directors for Lone Star/Ranger Oil Corporation (NYSE: ROCC).

Mr. Burnett received a B.B.A. in Accounting from Texas Tech University.

Mr. Hall has served as a Director of the Company since August 2, 2025. He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of Crescent Energy Company, a position he has held since June 2025. Prior to joining Crescent, he served as Executive Vice President of Operations at Pioneer Natural Resources Company, where he was also a member of the Executive Committee. During his multi-decade career at Pioneer, Mr. Hall held leadership roles overseeing development and operational strategy in multiple regions, including Alaska, the Eagle Ford and the Permian Basin.

Mr. Hall received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University, where he was recognized with the Distinguished Engineer award. He is an honorary inductee of both the Mechanical Engineering Academy and the Petroleum Engineering Academy. In 2022, he was appointed to the Texas Energy Plan Advisory Committee by the Lieutenant Governor of Texas.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Hall and his family support several non-profit organizations and co-founded the nonprofit Will to Cure ALD.

Ms. Peffer has served as a Director of the Company since March 1, 2025. Ms. Peffer most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer for BigBear.ai (NYSE: BBAI) from June 2022 to June 2025.  BigBear.ai is a leading provider of highly complex AI-powered decision intelligence solutions and service for national security, defense, travel, trade, and enterprise. During her time with BigBear.ai she successfully implemented strategies, initiatives, systems and solutions that drive and support employee development, organizational change, performance excellence and revenue growth, including expertise in Six Sigma and Lean. 

Prior to joining Bigbear.ai, Ms. Peffer held executive roles across multiple industries, including Defense, Aerospace, Technology, Oil & Gas, and multiple industry companies. She served as CFO for MedeAnalytics, a healthcare analytics company, and prior to that, she was Vice President, Finance at Amazon for Amazon Web Services (AWS) where she built and led global financial operations in support of world-wide customer-facing teams. Prior to Amazon, Ms. Peffer was Vice President, Finance at Flowserve (NYSE: FLS), supporting manufacturing operations in 25 countries, and previously at Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems as CFO for the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance division, including operations in the US, UK and Germany. She has also held senior leadership positions at ITT, Lennox International, Textron, Sterling Software and Texas Instruments.

Ms. Peffer earned her Bachelor's degree in Finance and Management from Texas Tech University and her MBA from Baker University.

Darryl K. Willis was appointed to the Company’s Board on August 9, 2018. Mr. Willis has served as Corporate Vice President of the Energy Industry for Microsoft since September 2019. In this role, Mr. Willis is Microsoft’s thought leader in the energy space and leads their go-to-market and solution approach to drive digital transformation with energy companies. Prior to joining Microsoft, Mr. Willis worked with Google Cloud, where he served as the VP of Oil, Gas and Energy.

From January 2015 to December 2017, Mr. Willis served as President and Chief Executive Officer for BP p.l.c.’s (NYSE: BP) Angola division. BP is a British multinational oil and gas company. He also served as Senior Vice President and Deputy Head of Subsurface for BP from July 2012 to January 2017. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Dril-Quip, Inc. (NYSE: DRQ)

Mr. Willis holds a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern State University, a Master of Science in Management from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a Master of Science in Geology and Geophysics from the University of New Orleans
