Board of Directors

Mr. Hawks has served as a Director and Chairman of the Company since March 5, 2026. Mr. Hawks was a Founding Partner of Brigade Capital Management, a multi-billion dollar asset management firm, from its inception in 2007 until his retirement from the company in December 2019. At Brigade, Mr. Hawks was the Head of Special Situations, sat on the firm’s Investment Committee and helped oversee many of Brigade’s largest restructurings. Prior to Brigade, Mr. Hawks was a Managing Director at Mackay Shields in its High Yield Group.

Since his time with Brigade, Mr. Hawks has focused on roles on the Boards of Companies during or following their restructurings. Mr. Hawks serves on the Board of Ferrellgas Partners, LP., a publicly traded partnership, as well as WW International where he serves as Chair of the Compensation Committee. Mr. Hawks also serves on the Boards of several private companies including AppLogic Networks and Cornerstone Chemical Company where he acts as Chairman.

Mr. Hawks also serves as Treasurer and a Board member of the Children’s Cardiomyopathy Foundation, is a member of the Board of Trustees and Nansemond-Suffolk Academy and is on the Advisory Board to the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with Distinction in 1996. 

Ms. Fox has served as the President, Chief Executive Officer, Secretary and Director of the Company since July 2015, and from February 2013 to July 2015, Ms. Fox served the Company as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Strategic Development. In addition, Ms. Fox served as the Interim Chief Financial Officer of the Company from September 2017 to December 2017 and previously served in such capacity from July 2015 through April 2017. From December 2008 to February 2013, Ms. Fox served in various positions with SCF Partners, a private equity firm specializing in investments in the energy services industry. Ms. Fox became a Managing Director of SCF Partners in December 2012. Prior to joining SCF Partners, Ms. Fox served in the United States Marine Corps. During her service, Ms. Fox worked with a small team embedded in the South of Iraq in order to ensure Iraqi Security Force combat operations were consistent with the application of US counterinsurgency tactics. Ms. Fox has also served as an Investment Banking Analyst for both Prudential Securities and Warburg Dillon Read in New York. Ms. Fox holds a Bachelor of Science in Diplomacy and Security in World Affairs from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School. She currently serves as a Board Director for Devon Energy Corporation, Board Advisor for Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy, Board Trustee for Groton School and Board Director for American Petroleum Institute.

Mr. Bartels has served as a Director of the Company since March 5, 2026. Mr. Bartels is the Managing Member of Redan Advisors LLC, a firm that provides fiduciary services, including board of director representation and strategic planning advisory services for domestic and international public and private business entities.

Prior to founding Redan Advisors LLC, Mr. Bartels served as a senior investor in complex financial restructurings and process-intensive situations in North America, Asia, and Europe, and in a broad universe of industries. He has more than 20 years of industry experience and served as a Managing Principal at Monarch Alternative Capital LP, a private investment firm that focused primarily on event-driven credit opportunities, from 2002 to December 2018. Prior to Monarch, he served as Research Analyst for high yield investments at INVESCO, where he analyzed primary and secondary debt offerings of companies in various industries. Mr. Bartels began his career at Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP, where he was a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. Bartels holds the Chartered Financial Analyst Designation. Mr. Bartels received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Bucknell University.

Mr. Esslemont has served as a Director of the Company since March 5, 2026. Mr. Esslemont has 43 years of international Oil & Gas industry experience in petroleum technology, drilling operations, and executive management. Most recently, Mr. Esslemont served as President, CEO and Director of Parking Drilling Company (now Parker Wellbore), a position he held from 2020 to 2025 when he successfully sold the Company to Nabors Industries Inc.

Prior to leading Parker Drilling Company, Mr. Esslemont served as CEO for Abrado, a Houston based company he co-founded, from 2012 to 2020, after serving as CEO and Chairman of SensorTran Inc., a venture backed fiber optic sensing technology company based in Austin, Texas from 2009 to 2012. From 2008 to 2009, Mr. Esslemont served as the Houston based President, Western Hemisphere for Expro International, a UK Public listed oilfield services firm before leaving in 2009 after the company was acquired. Prior to this, Mr. Esslemont served as CEO of Roxar, a Norwegian based oilfield technology services company from 2001 to 2009. During his tenure as CEO Mr. Esslemont delisted the company from the Norwegian Stock exchange and successfully managed two private equity leveraged buy-outs prior to relisting the company in 2007.

Mr. Esslemont started his career as a Petroleum Engineer with Shell International in the Middle East and UK and specialized in Drilling Engineering. He held a number of general management assignments in the Middle East, Australasia and Norway.

Mr. Esslemont has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh, has been an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, and served on the Board of Directors of the American Petroleum Institute (API) and was a member of the National Petroleum Council (NPC) for the last 5 years.

Mr. Hall has served as a Director of the Company since August 2, 2025. He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of Crescent Energy Company, a position he has held since June 2025. Prior to joining Crescent, he served as Executive Vice President of Operations at Pioneer Natural Resources Company, where he was also a member of the Executive Committee. During his multi-decade career at Pioneer, Mr. Hall held leadership roles overseeing development and operational strategy in multiple regions, including Alaska, the Eagle Ford and the Permian Basin.

Mr. Hall received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University, where he was recognized with the Distinguished Engineer award. He is an honorary inductee of both the Mechanical Engineering Academy and the Petroleum Engineering Academy. In 2022, he was appointed to the Texas Energy Plan Advisory Committee by the Lieutenant Governor of Texas.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Hall and his family support several non-profit organizations and co-founded the nonprofit Will to Cure ALD.

Darryl K. Willis was appointed to the Company’s Board on August 9, 2018. Mr. Willis has served as Corporate Vice President of the Energy Industry for Microsoft since September 2019. In this role, Mr. Willis is Microsoft’s thought leader in the energy space and leads their go-to-market and solution approach to drive digital transformation with energy companies. Prior to joining Microsoft, Mr. Willis worked with Google Cloud, where he served as the VP of Oil, Gas and Energy.

From January 2015 to December 2017, Mr. Willis served as President and Chief Executive Officer for BP p.l.c.’s (NYSE: BP) Angola division. BP is a British multinational oil and gas company. He also served as Senior Vice President and Deputy Head of Subsurface for BP from July 2012 to January 2017. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Dril-Quip, Inc. (NYSE: DRQ)

Mr. Willis holds a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern State University, a Master of Science in Management from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a Master of Science in Geology and Geophysics from the University of New Orleans
